Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service apply to the Crown Auto Body website and to the services described on it. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Using this website
The content on this site is general information about our shop and our services. We work to keep it accurate and current, but services, availability, and other details may change without notice. Website content does not create an agreement to perform any repair. An agreement for repair work is formed only as described in the Repairs and authorization section below.
Please use the site lawfully, and do not submit information that is false, misleading, or that you do not have the right to share.
Estimates
Estimates provided online, by phone, or from photos are preliminary only. Damage that is hidden, structural, or mechanical often cannot be seen in photos or from a quick look at the vehicle.
A final estimate requires an in-person inspection of the vehicle, and in some cases partial disassembly or teardown, before we can confirm the scope of work and the cost. If inspection or teardown reveals additional damage, the estimate may change, and we will discuss the change with you before proceeding.
No repair work is performed without customer authorization.
Appointments
An appointment request submitted online, by text, or by phone is a request only. Your appointment is not confirmed until the shop confirms it with you. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us as early as you can.
Repairs and authorization
Repair work is governed by the repair authorization you sign or otherwise provide in writing, together with applicable California law, including the requirements of the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. We will not begin work, or add work beyond what you authorized, without your approval. Additional or supplemental work that becomes necessary will be explained to you, and your authorization will be obtained, before that work is done.
Warranty
Crown Auto Body stands behind its work. Our warranty covers failures caused by the shop's workmanship.
The warranty does not cover:
- New damage, including damage from a later accident or impact
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to care for the vehicle properly
- Normal wear and tear
- Pre-existing conditions, rust, or damage that was present before our repair
- Paint damage caused by poor care of the paint surface, such as bird droppings left sitting on it
If you believe a repair we performed has failed because of our workmanship, contact us so we can inspect the vehicle and make it right under the warranty.
Payment
Payment is due when you pick up your vehicle, unless other arrangements are made with the shop in advance. We accept cash, major credit cards, debit cards, Zelle, and insurance payments.
Insurance claims
We are glad to help you with an insurance claim, including documenting damage and working with your insurer on the repair. Approval of a claim, and the amount an insurer will pay, are the insurer's decisions, not ours. You are responsible for any authorized charges that your insurer does not pay, including any deductible that applies to your policy.
Intellectual property
The text, photos, logos, and design on this website belong to Crown Auto Body or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your personal use in connection with your own vehicle or repair. Please do not copy, reuse, or republish our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
